New technical cooperation will facilitate badge sharing between industry-leading platforms.

Scottsdale, Arizona, March 6, 2017, Innovations in Testing – Alpine Testing Solutions, Inc., a leader in psychometric services, test development, and credential management technology, announced a strategic partnership between its CertMetrics™ Credential Management Technology and Pearson’s digital professional recognition platform, Acclaim.

The Alpine-Acclaim strategic partnership is a direct response to market demand and will facilitate the creation and dissemination of badges while increasing the value that these badges represent. “This partnership makes perfect sense,” said Blair Harris, Vice President of Technology for Alpine. “CertMetrics is an intuitive candidate management technology that makes it easy for testing programs to manage candidates and their training, achievements, exams, and credential data. With the Alpine-Acclaim partnership, this data can now be leveraged by Acclaim to create the appropriate badges for candidates to access and self-manage within the well-established Acclaim badge repository. Acclaim is a great platform for those badges to receive broader distribution and has a host of other tools and services for its users to leverage.” Harris added, “The clients we share with Acclaim will also access the Acclaim badging tool platform directly from CertMetrics providing a higher likelihood of candidates sharing their badges for their own benefit and that of the badge sponsor.”

The full technical integration is scheduled to be available in Q2 this year.
